
Mrs. Kaimann's class had such a fun time at our royal tea party! We enjoyed getting to celebrate the end of our Kings and Queens unit. In this unit we learned about Character, Setting, sequencing, types of stories and rhyming.

Mrs. Marshall shared some of her photos from the Pep Rally before Homecoming. One of the best parts of being a small school is our elementary students getting to participate in schoolwide events. Thanks for including us EHS!

Water will not be available during lunch. Please come to school prepared with at least one bottle of water or more than one depending on your schedule. It is possible this boil order will be extended further into the week.


STEM Saturdays are a win-win! We have a ton of learning experiences happening through hands on activities and experiments. We also have a tote of food and some grocery money for Operation Backpack. Thank you to all of the staff and A+ students who have made these mornings possible. Our last STEM Saturday of the school year is April 5, 2025.

Mrs. Kaimann's students wrapped up our unit on Native Americans by making "buffalo skin" vests like the Lakota Sioux wore and they made spinner drums like ones that are used at Pow-Wows.


Kindergarten had a special visitor this week! Thank you to Suzanne Jones, Native American Storyteller and tribal member of the Choctaw Nation! She shared stories and taught us the Choctaw words for hello: “halito”; you good?: “achukma”; and thank you: “yakoke”.

All busses will be using snow routes in the morning and afternoon on Friday, February 21.


Please adjust your calendars for our two Monday make-up days due to snow.
School will be in session on Monday, March 17 and Monday, April 7.


Students in grades K-5 are invited to join us for the STEM Saturday on February 22. Students can be dropped off at 9 a.m. at the Elementary Doors. Pick up time is 11:30 a.m. at the elementary doors.The admission fee is one box of kid friendly food such as granola bars, pop tarts, snack cakes or you can make a $5 donation. All donations go to Operation Backpack and benefit students in the Elsberry School District. Students will be participating in a variety of activities including robotics, engineering, art, design and more.


Snow routes will be utilized for both the morning and afternoon bus routes on Thursday, February 20.


Due to inclement weather conditions, school is canceled on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
