Happy Read Across America Week. As the week winds down we just wanted to say thank you for participating. It is so fun to see our students dressed up each day and to watch their faces light up while listening to a guest reader. We also had an amazing turnout for Bingo for Books! According to the Department of Education, the more students read or are read to for fun on their own time and at home, the higher their reading scores, generally.

Show and tell is a way for kids to learn about each other while practicing communication skills. Getting up in front of a room to talk is scary for some adults, but these first graders are doing amazing!
