Select Class 3, this will bring up all events in your class and will be organized by start times
Choose your matchup from the list of events
You will see ticket sales do not begin until 2/26/2023 12:00PM, this is when presales expire

Enter the number of tickets and click Checkout
Enter card information to purchase the ticket

Kingergarten Registration is Monday, March 18 from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 19 from 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Entrance will be at the elemetary doors. Students must be 5 years of age before August 1, 2024 to register. Children do not have to be at registration. More information is on the attached flyer.
The Elsberry FFA Clothes for a Cause distribution will be Monday, February 19 from 5-7 p.m. in the elementary gym.
The Elsberry R-2 School District will be closed Friday, February 16 due to forecasted weather conditions.

Congrats to the EHS Senior Class for being crowned the spirit week champions! It was no easy task to claim the victory this year. During Homecoming Spirit Week EHS students donated 2,027 items to Operation Backpack! Thank you to all students and parents for supporting the spirit week competition and supporting the Operation Backpack program that makes sure every student has what they need. If you would like to make a food or monetary donation to Operation Backpack please contact Jill Koch at ext. 254.

The Elsberry R-II Board of Education is pleased to announce that Dr. Jeremy Davidson has accepted the superintendent position beginning July 1, 2024. Dr. Davidson currently serves as the principal at Winfield Middle School and has over 15 years of administrative experience.
Dr. Davidson is a visionary leader passionate about the success of all students and staff. He brings a wealth of experience in the field of education. He recently graduated with his doctorate from William Woods University. He has been in education for 23 years, five of which he spent in the classroom as a middle school social studies teacher. The other seventeen years he has spent as a principal. During his tenure as a principal, he led positive change at both the middle and high school levels by embracing a culture of teamwork and open communication and promoting a vision for success. He advocates strong collaborative learning environments that foster high-quality instruction, rigor in the classroom, and puts relationships at the forefront of learning.
Beyond education, he enjoys fishing, hiking, hunting, working out, and spending quality time with his family. He is a father of four children: Renzlee, Falyn, Kreedan, and Pyper. He has been married for over 21 years to his wife Mitsy. He has strong family values and believes in active participation in the community he serves. He stated, "I believe the community plays a pivotal role in enhancing the educational journey for our students. Elsberry is the perfect community to nurture, shape, and empower our students to the fullest potential."

Message from Elsberry FFA:
The FFA is trying something new this winter. We are asking for any gently used or new clothes from now until February 2nd. Clothes can be dropped off at the Elsberry High School entrance, Clarence Cannon Elementary office, or the Ag Building. We are taking baby clothes to adult clothes and anything in between them.
Then on February 19th, we are setting up the Elementary Gym with all the clothes for anyone from the community to pick out and pick up anything they may need.
The idea is to recycle any clothes that people may have and get the clothes to people in our community who may need them. So we are looking for clothing donations and then help getting the word out about the clothing handout date on February 19th starting at 5pm in the elementary gym.

Parent Summit, Thursday, January 18, 2024
Emily Kircher-Morris, LPC, is the host of The Neurodiversity Podcast, which explores the psychological, educational, and social needs for enriching the lives of neurodivergent people. She is the author of several books for parents and educators related to the development of children and teens who are neurodivergent and cognitively gifted. Her private practice outside of St. Louis, Missouri specializes in mental health support for neurodivergent kids, teens, and their families.
She will be presenting Creating a Neurodiversity-Affirming World on Thursday, January 18, 2024 as part of Parent Summit. The neurodiversity movement is empowering people who learn and think differently to change the world. Cognitive giftedness, ADHD, autism, and dyslexia are a few of the types of brains that fall under the umbrella of neurodiversity. During this talk, Emily will synthesize what we know about neurodivergent people and how we can create a neurodiversity-affirming world.
