
You might have noticed a lot of extra activity and vehicles at school since we dismissed. We are undergoing major renovations this summer. Here is a sneak peak of what is currently happening in the middle school.



Summer school begins on Tuesday, June 4 and continues through Friday, June 28. Summer school will be Tuesday-Friday, 7:45 am - 3:35 pm. Due to summer construction work, all students PreK-12 will use the elementary office entrance for drop off and pick up. On the first day all high school students will report to the high school library for a short meeting. All students attending summer school are eligible for free breakfast and lunch. Buses will run the regular year routes, a copy of the routes can be viewed at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Kq8W7CTH8PRcdrA_R1_anyP6LofcwXye/view?usp=sharing The route times may be adjusted during the first week based on the number of riders.

The end of the 2023-2024 school year is almost here! The last day of school is Thursday, May 23. School will dismiss at 12:35 p.m. Summer school begins June 4.

The Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) is currently awaiting approval on a new program called ‘Missouri SuN Bucks,’ aimed at helping families buy groceries for their school-aged children during the summer.

We are celebrating Nurse Hatcher throughout the District today on National School Nurse Day. When Mrs. Hatcher is not at school she enjoys camping and spending time with her family. Thank you for all you do each day Jolene!


Thank you to the members of the First Baptist Church for providing bagels in each office this morning in honor of teacher appreciation week. It was very kind of you to think of us and provide breakfast.


We are hiring a teacher for the Braves program! The ideal candidate is a certified teacher who works well with students of all abilities and can help students stay engaged, organized and current with classwork. BRAVES teachers work together to create a supportive environment for struggling learners in grades 7-12. They provide academic academic support and tutoring for all subjects, provide guidance and strategies to students on how to be successful at school, and communicate daily with teachers throughout the building. Candidates should be well organized, able to assist students in all subject areas, and able to work with a wide variety of students and staff.
