Important Reminders
* Grandparent's Day is this Friday, Sept. 9th from
9:30-10:30. If anyone would like to donate cookies
for that day, that would be great!
* Please make sure your child has someone coming
in with them, if you don't have a grandparent ask a
friend, aunt, uncle, neighbor, someone to share the
day with. Also I didn't get very many pics. Turned in, please
if you have any send them in tomorrow because I'm
making a slide show.
* For the next two weeks we will be talking about
apples and doing various activities to help celebrate
Johnny Appleseed's birthday. I am asking for you to
bring anything apple flavored in for the student's to
take a small sample, some examples are apple pie,
apple muffins, apple jacks, turnovers, juice, jelly,
applesauce, etc.

* Also if you would like to donate any apples to our
classroom, that would be helpful too.
* Please save Box Tops, Campbell soup labels,
print cartridges, old cell phones, and capri sun juice.
for our school.
* PTO fundraiser went home on Friday. It is due
Sept. 14. Make checks payable to Elsberry PTO.

* Your child's reading packet will come home tonight
They will read the book to you and you fill out the
form and return tomorrow.

* Also the book fair is doing a loose change drive.

All change sent in will help our classroom get new
books. For every $1 donated, Scholastic will donate
a book to a charity.
