4th Grade Title 1 Math
Dear Parents,
We have finished reviewing and administering the MAP tests for Communication Arts and Math. With the short time left in this school year I will be working on measurement. This will include capacity, length, temperature, and time. I will include standard measure and metric.
Some things to do at home:
measure items around the house using both sides of a ruler
measure things to the quarter inch
cook and use measuring spoons and cups
compare cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
I'm very proud of how your child is progressing and I hope you are, too. Don't forget to keep practicing those multiplication tables, even over the summer break.
