State Speech/Drama Contest
Recently seven Elsberry High School students attended the Northeast District Speech/Drama Contest held Saturday, March 15 at Rockbridge High School in Columbia. Of the eight events entered, Elsberry Students placed in seven categories. Two students place high enough to proceed to State competition on April 19 in Columbia. The two going to State are Jasmine Tillotson in humorous and poetry and Kelly Robertson in Storytelling.
Others competing were Suzan Gnade in Radio; Sean O’Brien in dramatic and duet acting; Hillari Lagemann in duet acting; Mariah Suddarth in original oratory and Emily Vitro in prose. Speech and Drama sponsor is Anna Boley.
