2006-2007 State FFA Convention

This past month on March 18th-20th, 21 FFA members attended State Convention in Columbia, Missouri. We had members travel to State through many different events. For instance, we had four contest teams make it to State (Agronomy, Forestry, Meats, and Dairy Foods.)
Five FFA members received their State Degrees (Jennifer Houston, Crystal Harris, Ashley Hagemeier, Louis Houston, and Philip Lavy.)
Jacob Guccione received an award for his SAE (Specialty Animal Production), and even our FFA Chapter was awarded a Chapter Activity Award! We had a wonderful chaperone, Sue Guccione, who did a terrific job and was an absolute pleasure to have on this trip! All contest teams that attended worked really hard, and were given Silver ratings. Over-all, everyone enjoyed themselves, had a good time, and are looking forward to State Convention next year!
