Fourth grade students love to go to P.E. with Coach York. They get to run, play, and to do a variety of sports. The last couple of classes have been a little bit different for the students; they have been learning a routine from an exercise video. The routine taught the students different steps to go along with the song Who Let The Dogs Out. The difficult challenge tested the students mentally and physically. The Elsberry High School Future Business Leaders of America recently competed in district contest with the chance to advance to the state competitions. On Tuesday March 2, advisor, Judy Gomel took 16 students to the campus of Hannibal-LaGrange College to compete against area schools in contests such as keyboarding, accounting, public speaking, job interview and business math to name a few. Sixty-eight students at Elsberry Middle School successfully completed the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, capping off their course requirements with a graduation ceremony on Tuesday, March 9 in the high school gymnasium. The fifth grade students were taught the program by Deputy Amy Tippit from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.
